Ministries

Check out the different ministries that we offer and see how you can be involved!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Our purpose is to lead boys and girls to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and help them grow in Him equipping them for Christian living. In the early part of our worship, children join the adults in a time of singing. Then children are invited to Children’s Church where dedicated Sunday School teachers give them Bible lessons where they learn more about God and in His Word. Arts and crafts are most enjoyable to the children. Children’s Church gives children opportunities to have fun, make choices based on Biblical principles and develop Christian values that affect every area of their lives.

MUSIC MINISTRY

We understand that worship is not just the music we sing, but how we live our lives. Romans 12:1 says we should offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, and that this is our spiritual act of worship. So our goal is to have everyone understand how serving in this ministry should help fulfill their spiritual act of worship.

PRAYER MINISTRY

We pray because we believe that we have an Almighty, All-wise God who answers prayer. We hold our prayer meeting every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Be encouraged as you join us in prayer.

SENIOR MINISTRY

The Senior’s Ministry at Glendale Christian Church exists to allow senior adult members to have fellowship together and to provide opportunities for them to reach out to others so they can “Experience God’s Touch.”

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Our Women Ministry is organized to promote fellowship, outreach and prayer among the women and encourage support and prayer for Alliance missionaries and worldwide ministries. As Alliance Women, we agree with our founder, Dr. Albert B. Simpson, that we are “…to keep abreast of the progress of our age and be…women of today in our message and ministry to our own generation.”It is our goal to involve every woman attending an Alliance church in the ministries of Alliance Women.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth ministry allows teenagers from 13-19 to come together to fulfill the following purposes:

A — Appropriate God’s salvation offered in Christ
Y — Yield to His Purposes in Christian Service
F — Fellowship with other believers
C — Care for one another

We meet every Friday evening for Bible Study and fellowship. Here in an informal time we study the Bible and share our needs with the group. We actively engage ourselves in developing our God-given skills. Aside from our Sunday fellowship we learn to play musical instruments like piano or keyboard, acoustic and bass guitar, drums, tambourine and violin.
